QNB Indonesia Receives Two Awards at HR Asia Awards 2026

Recognised as HR Asia Best Companies to Work for in Asia 2026 for the third consecutive year and recipient of the HR Asia People Transformation Award 2026

18 June 2026 – PT Bank QNB Indonesia Tbk (“Bank”), a subsidiary of QNB Group, a leading financial institution in the Middle East and Africa, has once again been recognised at the HR Asia Awards 2026, receiving the “HR Asia Best Companies to Work for in Asia 2026” award for the third consecutive year, alongside its first-ever “HR Asia People Transformation Awards 2026”.

This recognition comes as the Bank continues to accelerate its workforce transformation, equipping employees with the skills, mindset, and tools needed to thrive in an evolving banking landscape.

The Bank’s people-first approach was reflected in the HR Asia employee survey. Within the Best Companies to Work for in Asia category, employees gave strong ratings for professional development opportunities, support for employee-led communities, and wellbeing initiatives. Meanwhile, in the People Transformation category, employees recognised the Bank’s efforts in encouraging continuous learning, supporting upskilling and reskilling, as well as providing the resources needed to navigate a rapidly changing workplace.

“Being recognised for these two awards is a meaningful milestone that reinforces our belief that long-term business success is built on a foundation of empowered, engaged people,” said Nick Groene, President Director of PT Bank QNB Indonesia Tbk. “Transformation is ultimately about people. When our employees feel truly supported in their development and connected to a shared purpose, that energy translates directly into how we work, collaborate and grow as an institution. These awards reflect what our people have built together, and we remain committed to strengthening that culture in the years ahead.”

Over the past year, QNB Indonesia has continued to advance its transformation journey by embedding digital innovation through automation and technology-driven solutions across the organisation. The transformation journey, however, is not only about adopting new technologies, but also about empowering people to adapt with confidence.

The Bank invested in initiatives such as Qatalyst AI, an employee-led community that was established to equip employees with skills and strategic knowledge to lead and navigate the artificial intelligence era. Since its launch, the Bank has conducted 25 AI-focused training programmes, involving more than 300 employees, which reflects a growing interest in developing digital skills and embracing new ways of working.

Carina Hastari Tanubrata, Head of Human Resources of PT Bank QNB Indonesia Tbk added that the Bank’s transformation efforts are grounded in a simple principle: helping employees grow alongside the Bank.

“Technology transformation can only succeed when people are empowered to grow alongside it,” she said. “As the nature of work continues to evolve, we place people at the centre of our transformation journey by fostering a stronger culture, enhancing the employee experience, and supporting improved business performance. Whether through AI literacy, digital innovation, or everyday learning opportunities, our goal is to help our people stay relevant, resilient, and ready for the future.”

The HR Asia Awards recognise organisations that demonstrate outstanding people practices, progressive workplace cultures, and meaningful contributions to the broader HR community. Through its evidence-based survey and audit session presentation, the awards highlight institutions that place human capital at the heart of their organisational strategy.
