QNB Indonesia Goes to School Engaged SMK Kartini Batam Students
29 April 2021 - In line with the effort to improve financial literacy, especially among students, QNB Indonesia once again conducted the QNB Indonesia Goes to School program. QNB Indonesia Goes to School is an annual program from QNB Indonesia, where the Bank supported by the employees, boost the education for basic financial literacy among students, starting from elementary school to high school.
As the Covid-19 pandemic still continues, the QNB Indonesia Goes to School program was once again conducted virtually this year. In the meantime, as the program was conducted online, the Bank aimed to expand its beneficiaries coverage to students outside Jakarta and engaged the tens of students of SMK Kartini Batam.
In this program, the students are invited to learn about financial planning, how to manage expenses and investment. Along with QNB Indonesia's employees as volunteers, the students are encouraged to actively participate in several financial-related games. The objectives are to help students and equip them with skills to become a financially-wise individuals who are able to determine their future financial goals.
As a continuation of this activity, the students are also engaged in an e-poster competition with the topic of financial planning for young people.
